2030 Absolute 50% Reduction Target

The Fashion Industry Charter for Climate Action, under the UNFCCC, commits signatories to a 50% absolute reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 from a base year of no earlier than 2019. This target aligns with the Paris Agreement's goal of limiting global warming to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels. Many leading companies in the fashion and textile industry have committed to this target or to their own science-based targets.
